The Metallurgical Characteristics and Advantages of Jiuding Nitrogenated Ferro-Manganese:

1.In gray iron casting, the length of the flake graphite becomes shorter, the width increases, the bending length increases, and the ends of the graphite are blunted.

2.In the matrix structure, the amount of pearlite increases, the proportion of coarse lamellar pearlite decreases, and the lamellar spacing of pearlite diminishes.

3.It can reduce the addition of alloy elements such as copper, tin, and molybdenum in cast iron to reduce the production cost of castings and achieve good mechanical properties and machinability.

Instruction for Jiuding Nitrogenated Ferro-Manganese:

1.To stablilize the nitrogen content in molten iron, a graphitized carbon additive with stable nitrogen content should be used.

2.Strictly control the Ti and Zr content in the molten iron to reduce the neutralization effect of Ti and Zr elements on the N element;

3.Equipped with a nitrogen-oxygen analyzer to accurately detect and control the nitrogen content in molten iron. It is recommended to maintain the N content in molten iron within the range of 90~120 ppm.

When melting gray cast iron, it is advisable to use materials with stable nitrogen content, which can enhance the responsiveness of the molten iron to inoculation treatment and obtain castings with higher metallurgical quality.
