Performance and Advantages of Jiuding High-Nitrogen Carbon Additive:

（1）The nitrogen exists in a dissolved form, the carbon additive has a rapid absorption rate in the furnace and a high yield, ensuring stable nitrogen content in the molten iron.

（2）It can effectively improve the graphite morphology of gray cast iron.  The A-type graphite becomes shorter, curved, and blunted at the ends. At the same time, the pearlite content in the matrix structure increases, enhancing the tensile strength of the castings by 30~50 MPa.

（3）Compared with other foundry materials, the cost of the product is relatively low, and it can reasonably reduce the addition of alloys such as copper, tin, and molybdenum, which significantly lowers the production cost of castings.
