The material of the mold is generally made of special mold steel through various treatments, and the best mold steel also has the limit of their use, such as temperature. In the use of the mold, if the mold temperature is too high, it is easy to make the surface of the mold core crack early, and some molds have not even exceeded 2000 mold cracks appear in a large area. Even in the production of the mold, because the mold temperature is too high, the mold core has changed color, and even reached more than 400 degrees after measurement, such a temperature is prone to turtle cracks when encountering the state of release agent chill, and the products produced are also prone to deformation, strain, sticky mold and other situations. In the case of using mold cooling water, the use of release agent can be greatly reduced, so that the operator will not use release agent to reduce the temperature of the mold. Its advantages are to effectively extend the life of the mold, save the die casting cycle, improve product quality, reduce the occurrence of mold sticking and strain and aluminum sticking, and reduce the use of release agents. It can also reduce the loss of the ejector rod and core caused by the overheating of the mold temperature.

The mold must be preheated during the beginning of the production process to prevent the occurrence of cracks caused by hot metal liquid in the cold mold suddenly. The more complex mold can use a blowtorch, liquefied gas, the mold temperature machine with good conditions, and the more simple mold can use slow injection preheating.

Cleaning the parting surface of the die casting mold is very troublesome and easy to ignore. If the boss has a high starting point and buys a good mold, it will be much easier to work. If the quality of the mold is not good, there will inevitably be flash or dirt on the parting surface of the mold during production, and the operator should often clean these parts. Have a small spatula knife at all times (the company should give your employees all the tools they need to fight with a good gun). If the flash is not removed in time, the mold parting surface is easy to collapse, resulting in aluminum running in the production process, once this result is caused, no matter how good you have mold repair experts, the possibility of complete repair is very small, not that they have no ability. The result of running aluminum not only increases the cost of die casting, the white aluminum is wasted, the product quality is unstable, especially the internal quality, but also increases the difficulty of determining the process parameters, the pass rate will decrease a lot, and the probability of industrial injury will be increased from safety considerations. When the shift is over, the operator thoroughly cleans the parting surface of the mold with kerosene, which not only prevents the mold from being crushed, but also, after cleaning, can open the exhaust tank blocked by the residue of release agent or other dirt on the mold, which is conducive to the discharge of gas in the cavity during the injection process to improve product quality. It is appropriate for a team to clean the parting surface twice. Let employees develop a good habit.

If the mold is equipped with neutron control, pay attention to absolutely prohibit the joint phenomenon of the signal line between the die casting machine and the mold, the reason is clear, in daily production, it is difficult to avoid water on the signal line, or the place where the joint is wrapped is easy to break, resulting in short contact with the machine tool, if the signal is wrong, the light alarm automatic shutdown delay time, the heavy signal disorder, the mold top bad.
